Hello and welcome to my online portfolio. My name is Alex Gam and I am currently attending Ryerson University's Image Arts & New Media program. All of the work that I produce over the next few years, as well as other personal work, will be hosted on this web site for the world to see.

It is interesting to be an artist in the current age of technology. What one learns today may be different the next day due to an upgraded piece of technology. The job of a new media artist is to take these changes in technology and produce art with them. In my opinion, as a new media student and artist, it is my job to effectively produce art that people will be able to effectively interact with so that they can experience something in a new way. The goal of my art is to create a positive experience for the user/viewer, and possibly change their mind on a certain topic for the better.
